Alannah House

Alannah House is a Georgian built house centrally situated in the historic town centre of Berwick-upon-Tweed, the house being originally built as officers' married quarters for the nearby barracks. Our quiet location is an ideal base for golfers, walkers, cyclists, for those wishing to explore the town or the stunning Northumberland beaches and is within easy reach of the natural and historic wonders that this part of the country has to offer. Alternatively you could just stay with us and enjoy the day on our patio in our well maintained walled garden. All our rooms are en-suite, centrally heated with digital TV and are decorated to a high standard. Of course no stay would be complete without a friendly face to welcome you and your hostess Lynn is always ready with a smile and a chat and of course her breakfasts are second to none whether it be full English, something light or continental. We pride ourselves in our family friendly approach and children are always welcome, we can provide high chairs for breakfast and cots when necessary. We also have secure storage for cycles and can provide facilities for walkers. For the motorists we provide a temporary parking permit which allows free on street parking outside the house in residents' parking bays.
