Type: Tourist Information Centre

This centre has a dual role as a National Park Centre and Tourist Information Centre providing a wide range of information for visitors. Situated near Hadrian's Wall in a World Heritage Site offering excellent walking and cycling facilities. Visitors can pick up a souvenir or local craft or just relax and watch one of the videos with a cup of tea and locally made sandwiches. There is also free internet access where visitors can collect emails from home. Accommodation Booking Service also available.

Road Directions

From the A69 heading west take left exit signposted for Once Brewed (C307) for 2.5 miles, travelling along A69 heading east take same exit.
From the B6318 Military Road follow signs for Once Brewed.

Hadrian's Wall Bus AD122 operates between Newcastle and Carlisle during the summer months, for operating times contact Hadrian's Wall Information Line 01434 322002.
Arriva 685 service operates daily along A69 between Newcastle and Carlisle which also co-ordinates with train timetable. For operating times: telephone 0871 2002233 or 01434 322002.
The 681 and 185 bus service operates Monday to Saturday along the Military Road.
